Who are Pro-Visions Insurance Services Limited? Pro-Visions Insurance Services Limited (Pro-Visions) are specialist insurance brokers arranging Professional Indemnity Insurance and Commercial Insurance policies for a range of professions. Pro-Visions are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Our FSA Register Number is 476854. Our permitted business is advising, arranging, dealing as agent and assisting in the administration and performance of general insurance contracts. You may check this on the FSA’s register by visiting the FSA website, www.fsa.gov.uk/register or by contacting the FSA on 0845 606 1234. What type of insurance can I buy on this website? Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance is the mandatory cover for all new policies and this cover starts from as little as £125.00 plus Insurance Premium Tax. A range of additional insurances can be added to the Professional Indemnity section including Public Liability (PL), Employers’ Liability (EL), Office Contents and Legal Expenses insurance. For more information on these, please refer to Our Products. What kind of advice is given? We will not make any recommendation regarding the suitability of cover or provide any advice. The onus is on you to ensure that the amount of cover and the types of insurance purchased are adequate for your own requirements but the information contained within these FAQs may also be helpful. Which Insurance companies underwrite your policies? We only use major UK based Insurance Companies who provide excellent service and competitive rates. Quotations for Fire Safety Professionals, Training Professionals, Health & Safety Consultants, Management & Business Consultants are provided with a single insurer, Catlin Insurance Company (UK) Ltd. The Insurer we use for Legal Expenses Insurance is DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Limited. All other quotations are provided from a range of leading Insurance Companies. How do I complain? We aim to offer a high level of customer service and subscribe fully to the FSA’s guidelines on treating customers fairly. If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service. We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. For compulsory classes of insurance, such as Employers' Liability, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
